Is it possible to buy a new phone or repair it without my parents knowing?

So i dropped my blackberry in the toilet this morning and i've only had it for a few days. My parents will be pissed. Everything seems to work but the buttons. I've tried blow drying it and sticking it in rice but the buttons still dont work. My parents are out of town for the weekend. Can i take it into Verizon and buy a new one or get the buttons repaired without them knowing?
