Wanting to go into the plumbing industry and just need some help into what direction I should take. I am currently doing my GCSE's and thinking of just doing a basic certificate in plumbing for 1 year, get to grips, then do an apprenteship with an experienced plumber (a friend of ours) for 4 years, at the same time as doing NVQ training.... Is that a good path to follow? I am really not interested in university, waiste of time, too much money and raw experience sounds better. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the last comment, first person needs to mature, but eh, always an idiot on every QnA lol. Yes, I understand education is a large factor, but I am really not interested in university, college and further education with the specific (NVQ) is a must, but uni is pointless. I am not the most academically thrived character, will getting into certain trade schools require really good GCSE's?
