My water pressure in shower fluctuates. Will it help if I "loop" my water system?

My shower is at the far side of the plumbing in my house. Thought I would put in a tee where the water enters the house and run a line all the way to the back of the house and hook it back into the plumbing there. Would this help the fluctuations? I'm hooked to city water with approximately 70# psi of static pressure. The checkvalve on the water meter has been removed.
