The slab in my condo was moist in certain areas when I pulled up carpeting to replace it, so called a leak detection company. They thought they found the leak in the pipes from the master bathroom, blew the pipes with water and compressed air, came back and no longer detected the leak. Now what? These are old copper pipes and I dont want to reroute and also not sure where the leak is. So... what should I do. Can I put down a strong moisture barrier, recarpet and move on with my life, which is what I think I might do. ?
