Is it normal for the A/C in my Jeep Cherokee to leak water when I turn off the engine?

It's been doing it for a long time - as long as I have had it - a few years. Since I haven't had any problems with it I am assuming it's normal. Let me know if otherwise. The water leaks onto the pavement, under the car - a small puddle.
