Crushing Sewer Drain Pipe Under Pressure - Pronto Plumbing

prontoplumbing.com Here is a pronto plumbing customer's cast iron drain line that was under some extreme pressures. This drain line was becoming a victim to major settling and shifting that was causing sections to break apart. There were also many dips or bellies through the pipe where the pipe actually has low spots and will eventually cause your drain line to drain slowly or back up. The one big surprise with this cast iron drain line was that it was beginning to crush and become oblong or oval shaped due to some extreme pressure. If this is was let go long enough without detection the homeowner would have a serious drainage issue. It is important to make sure your drain lines are healthy and are properly draining.
