Well, I took off the toilet to repair some linoleum around the toilet and noticed the metal ring around the flange is rusted and breaking. So, I went to lowe's to find a replacement ring. It fits right over the old ring but the old ring is made of some heavy duty metal. Can't seem to get any holes into it. Can I find some kind of glue to glue the ring down or does this only takes screws? Please help, we are living without a toilet at the moment and it's really cold outside.
