After working for several years, my household's dishwasher doesn't clean dishes very well anymore, even though the filter is kept very clean. We're pretty much committed to buying a new one, but I want to make sure it's not a problem with the plumbing. It would be a huge pain to install a new dishwasher and still have the same issue. Is that a reasonable fear? Should I hire a professional and make sure it's not a plumbing issue?
