Is the plumbing business friendly for people who don't own or plan to own a vehicle?

I'm thinking of becoming a plumber, I hear the pay is good and I don't mind doing hard work, the thing is I don't own a vehicle and don't plan on owning one, I live in a big city and don't really need one, I can drive so if I receive a company truck that won't be an issue.
