we moved to an old house(built in 30s located near los angeles) recently and noticed that water was brown color when I turned the faucet on for the first time. But the brown color slowly went away after about 20 seconds. previous owner of the house told me that plumbing is mostly galvanized. If i don't fix it and leave it as is, will it affect our health both short term and long term? We're planning to live in this house for a long time and we have a baby on the way.
