I am 67 years old and was hurt twice at rental place can I sue? Owner says he has no homeowners .?

Once when place flooded due to bad plumbing I slipped and broke three capped teeth.Then was told had to move and owner put my things in trailer without asking me without notice and trailer tailgate fell on me with no safety chain. I had to have stitches in head. What recourse do I have?
