How much to get a house bulldozed?

My parents own two houses-one sits right next to the one they live in. The one that sits next door has been vacant for over 10 years, and has really fallen into a state of disrepair. It probably would cost around $15 grand to fix it up to the point of being able to live in (rough guess). The plumbing is shot-the kitchen and restroom floor has caved in, the ceiling above the kitchen is falling in, the electrical system is shot, the furnace is shot, every room needs gutted, repainted and new carpet, the windows are falling out...i could go on and on. My parents are just gonna leave the place to sit and rot for the rest of their lives i guess. Im trying to talk them into getting it bulldozed so they can have a much larger yard - as this houses yard attaches to the one they live in. Any rough estimates on how much it costs to get a average sized older house torn down? I know thats a wildshot to ask.......
