I need some more light in the bathroom and I was looking at the pipes under the sink. There's an outlet next to the water heater. I figure if I run the black power wire to the hot side and the common to the cold side, I can save a lot of time running Romex and all that crap all the way through the house. Then I can just punch a hole in the counter top and take the wires up to a fixture I have nailed to the wall. Where should I attach the green ground wire?
