Petroleum in well?????

We recently purchased a fannie mae foreclosure that has a private well. The water had a very strong sulfur odor, which was disclosed prior to closing so we were expecting to have to purchase some sort of filtration system.
I called Culligan to come out and he did the sulfur test and...
