New Homemade Egg Incubator

~READ DESCRIPTION FOR MORE DETAILS~ This video explains how my newest homemade incubator was set up. The cost of everything was pretty cheap. I didn't even have to buy most things. You can use this set-up perfectly if you use a light bulb for heat. The Incubator kit I used in this video was called an Incukit. I bought it from an online store called the Incubator Warehouse: cgi.ebay.com If you already have a heat source, here's a link to a great thermostat you could use: cgi.ebay.com (This thermostat is much better than a water heater thermostat and this thermostat was the same one used in the incubator kit I had. It works very well. You can also attach a fan to this.) Incubation: Temperature: 99-100 degrees F Humidity:50%-65% Incubation Period: 21 days (Chicken) Turn 3 times a day for the first 18 days. Last 3 days: NO Turning; Humidity: 65%-75%; Temperature: Same Items: Cooler: $7 Water Trays: (Recycled from meat containers) Plastic Tube: $6 Funnels: (Already had) ~$8 if you buy a whole set Wooden Dowels: $0.75 each (depends on size) Thermostat: $18 Plastic Mesh: $5/ pack of 10 Fish Feeder Top: (Salvaged from $3 fish food) Water Bottles: (recycled) 12 Egg Carton: $0.75 each Plastic Picture Frames: $1.75 each
