A wood fired boiler that gasifies the wood and then burns it clean. Starts with a 16 gallon steel drum, lined with castable refractory. As much as I like to keep things compact, typical firewood dictates the size. Although still no bigger than an average BBQ grill. The water wall and spiral sections of tubing will be installed next. The boiler tubing section is designed so it can be easily lifted out without disconnection of tubing or electrical.
