Why is the media attacking Joe the Plumber?

Ok, so he is not a licensed plumber, but he is still a plumber, but who cares? It was a legitimate question, even if HE doesnt make that much money right now, there are a lot of people who do. My husbands boss would like to know the same thing, we all do. Obama screwed up when he said spread the wealth, so now him and the media attack an innocent person.
