Rough plumbing, connect to main before inspection?

Hi, I am adding a bathroom. The inspector wants to see the rough plumbing before he will sign off on the floor. Should I connect it to the main line before the inspection, or wait till after the inspection?? Thanks in advance.. pb4sc
