Is the media attacking Joe the plumber to send a message to anyone else who might dare question Obama?

Or are they just a little cranky because a plumber threw a monkey wrench into their plan. Plant, shill, imposter, WHATEVER. It doesn't change Obama's "Spread the wealth around" response.
