How do I fix low water pressure from an artisan well? There's copper plumbing in the house.?

I live in a 200 yr old house that has copper plumbing and an artisan well, I was told. My problem is that I have low water pressure in my shower and when I turn on the hot water. Also, the hot water isn't overly hot, you can shower with just that on. How do I fix these?
