Our dishasher is not draining, after the cycle is complete. There is about 4 inches of water at the bottom of the machine, sitting. It has been there 2 days and has not drained a bit. I put some bleach in it, to be sure the water would not build too much bacteria quickly. Do we call a plumber or a person for the machine? Or can we do it ourselves? Would this hav eto do with the drain, or the sink / garbage disposal and the dishwasher sharing the same pipes? How much could this cost or is it cheaper just to get a new machine?
