The water in our bathroom sink faucet takes about 5 sec to heat but the water in the kitchen?

takes over a minute to heat. So we sit there waiting for warm water and waste all of the cold coming out of the faucet. Why is this? How can it be fixed? Thanks in advance. Happy New Year! Yikes, no need to be so hostile. I just wanted to know why.
