I just moved into a new house and the previous owner has the sump pump draining out of the house underground and it empties into a 12x6x8 hole in the ground. During heavy rain the water will sit in this hole for days. Is there anything I can do do help this water dissapear faster? I have seen some drain tops, but not sure that will do the job.
