Why does McCain keep bringing up Joe the Plumber at his rallies? I thought he apologized to Joe on Dave?

Letterman. Why pursue something that failed? Freedom Guy - Joe does not represent the average American. Joe owes back taxes and in not licensed nor is he an apprentice. Joe is a poor example. There are better examples of average Americans - is what I'm saying.
