Any Plumbers?? Need to run water from spigot to outdoor sink?

I have the sink and cabinets, but I need some know how on "plumbing" in the sink. I would like to use a hosepipe as the source, but I am unsure on how to go from the hose to the sink as they have different size fittings. Any true help would be greatly appreciated.
