would the leak detection pump cause a miss in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has a really bad miss. I got the code off the Jeep and it said something about a leak detection pump and I was just wondering if that would be making it miss. the only time the engine misses is every once in a while when u start it. it last for about 20 or 30 seconds usually
