What are the signs of a water pump gone bad besides the obvious water leak?

Hi, I have noticed a rattling noice coming from appears to be the water pump, also the belt seems to be a bit shaky, however no leak, no overheating and water flow inside the radiator looks normal. Thanks for your help.
