I just had my septic tank pumped, and am wondering what i do to keep it maintained.
Its 40 years old,no issues thus far. Septic tank operator suggested a number of maintenance procedures,additives,etc. to keep it operational.
Any thoughts???

1) ph(8.5-9.5), alkalinity(240), clorine(0) and hardness(250)
2) iron(0)
3) copper(-0)
4) nitrate(0), nitrate(0-0.25)

Hey guys, I just scored a brand new spartan 415r locator for 200$.Has anyone out there used this model before? Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.
